Description

Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Muffin For One ---Whipping up an air fryer chocolate chip muffin for one is quick and easy with this recipe. All you need is a few ingredients and your favorite cooking vessel. No more waiting around for the oven to preheat or spend time cleaning dishes. Simply whip up a single serving of these delicious treats in just minutes!

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt,  (omit if using salted butter)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Optional: Sparkling sugar, which I love for all my muffins, they give it a real bakery quality

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Mix in the melted butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and milk.
  • Mix well.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Either spray muffin tin or ramekins with cooking spray or use a muffin liner for the muffin tin.
  • Pour your batter into the muffin/cupcake holder.
  • Sprinkle with sparkling sugar (optional)
  • Set in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 330 degrees F (air fryer setting)
  • Check to make sure the muffin is fully cooked before removing it; depending on the air fryer you own, you may need an additional minute or two.
  • Plate, serve and enjoy!

  • Muffin Tin, or ramekin oven-safe
  • Cooking Spray

Notes

  • This recipe will work in any Air Fryer, Basket, or oven Model. I have made this several times in my Ninja Foodi, Instant Pot Vorftex, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, and Mealthy Lid. The recipe will remain the same; the cooking time may vary.
  • For best results, start with room-temperature ingredients.
  • You can double or triple this recipe. The cooking time will remain the same for 1 or 3 muffins.
  • Do not crowd the Air Fryer Basket. Otherwise, it will take longer to cook up.
  • Bake (Air Fry), until the muffin is cooked through since the cooking time, will vary. If you find that the tops are getting too brown, tightly wrap a piece of foil around the muffin tin or ramekin, and reduce the temperature. Bake until fully cooked.
