Description

Air Fryer Cheetos Chicken Fries are a crispy, cheesy, and easy-to-make snack. Perfect for a quick appetizer or party treat, these chicken fries are coated in Cheetos and air-fried to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips (like fries)
  • 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups Cheetos, finely crushed
  • 1/2 cup dipping sauce, Ranch dressing or honey mustard, optional

Instructions

  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the chicken strips.
  • Coat the chicken strips lightly in all-purpose flour.
  • Dip the flour-coated chicken strips into the beaten eggs.
  • Roll the egg-dipped chicken strips in finely crushed Cheetos until fully coated.
  • Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat.
  • Place the Cheetos-coated chicken strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don't touch. If needed, cook in batches.
  • Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is fully cooked and the coating is crispy.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
