Air Fryer Caramel Stuffed Donuts

Air Fryer Caramel Stuffed Donuts are soft, golden treats with a gooey caramel center that’s absolutely irresistible. Made with biscuit dough and just a few ingredients, they come together quickly in the air fryer—no deep frying needed. Perfect for a sweet breakfast, dessert, or anytime indulgence!
Ingredients
Caramel Stuffed Donuts Ingredients:
- 1 package pizza dough, or 1/2 pound of prepared pizza dough
- 1/2 teaspoon butter
- 2 large apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
Topping:
- 1/4 cup Cinnamon Sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, unsalted, melted
Instructions
- Start by peeling and dicing the apples, then add 1/2 teaspoon of butter to a small skillet or saucepan and saute them for a couple of minutes until they are softened. Add the apple pie spice and caramel sauce and remove from heat.
- Roll out your pizza dough on a flat surface or a cutting board. Lay out the pizza dough so they're about 6 inches long and about 2 inches wide (6x2). You can use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the dough.
- Place the caramel apple mixture down the center of the dough, leaving space on both sides. Then use your fingers, and pinch the dough together. Then create a circle shape with your dough, and pinch the ends together.
- Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper or nonstick cooking spray. And then, add your donuts to the air fryer basket, set the air fryer temperature to 350 degrees F, and set the cooking time for 8-10 minutes; remove when golden brown.
- Brush the top of the donuts with melted butter, then dip them into the cinnamon sugar; set for a couple of minutes on a wire rack before serving.
