  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • Clotted cream and jam to serve

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Cut in cold, cubed butter using a pastry cutter or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in any optional flavorings, such as vanilla extract or dried fruit.
