Description

The ultimate quick dessert for the chilly months, these stuffed “baked” apples are super easy to make and incredibly comforting. Serve with a caramel drizzle or a vanilla ice cream scoop.

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, I used Pink Lady but you can also use Honey Crisp apples
  • Cup oats
  • 1 Tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Use a cookie scoop, a knife or a spoon to scoop out the apples and get rid of the core, seeds and stem. Set aside.
  • In a bowl combine the oats, cinnamon, brown sugar and butter until it has a coarse texture.
  • Stuff the apples with the oat cinnamon mixture and place in the basket of the air fryer.
  • Cook for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F or until the apples are soft and the filling is toasted and caramelized.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
