Description

There is nothing better for lunch than an Instant Pot Philly Cheesesteak Sliders. Made with flank steak, bell peppers, served on a King’s Hawaiian Roll, and it’s smothered with provolone cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds flank steak, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 whole bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup water, or beef broth
  • 8 King’s Hawaiian dinner rolls
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • Place the meat, peppers, and water in the Instant Pot. Cover and close pressure valve. Set to manual high pressure for 10 minutes
  • When finished, release the pressure valve and open the lid. Remove meat and shred. Add your meat back to your Instant Pot with peppers. For a thicker sauce, add a tablespoon of corn starch.
  • Cut dinner bun in half. Add the bottom portion of the buns to a 8 x 8 baking pan.
  • Spoon meat and peppers onto the buns. Evenly distribute
  • Cover the meat and peppers with provolone cheese and set under the broiler on high. It should take about 3 to 4 minutes for the provolone cheese to melt. Once the cheese is melted, remove and place top buns, brush with some butter.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Instant Pot, or Ninja Foodi
