1fresh coconut , or 2 cups coconut flakes
2tablespoonsbrown sugar
1tablespooncoconut oil
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 330 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 3-5 minutes. Pry out the coconut meat and slice it into thin slices.
In a bowl, combine the coconut flakes with melted coconut oil, ensuring that the flakes are evenly coated. Sprinkle a pinch of brown over the coconut flakes and toss to distribute evenly.
Spread the coated coconut flakes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Air-fry the coconut flakes at 330 degrees F (165°C), set cook time for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Keep a close eye on them, as they can burn quickly.
Once the coconut flakes are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool completely. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
