Ingredients
2cupsfrozen green peas, thawed
1tablespoonsolive oil
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
1/4teaspoonsmoked paprika
Instructions
The key to making crispy air-fried green peas is a lot like making crispy chickpeas, they need to be dried off, and as much moisture needs to be removed from the peas as possible.
Lay them out on a kitchen towel or on paper towels to allow them to dry. This will only take about 10-15 minutes.
Add your olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Make sure that the green peas are fully coated. (This is another key to getting really crunchy green peas)
Then preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, spread the peas into the air fryer basket. Set the time to 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket frequently. If you have an air fryer oven, use a pair of tongs and flip them halfway.
