Instructions

  • Wash and dry the apples. You can choose to peel them or leave the skin on, depending on your preference. Apple skin adds extra fiber and nutrients.
  • Using a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer, thinly slice the apples into rounds. Aim for slices that are about 1/8-inch thick. To ensure even cooking, try to make the slices as uniform as possible.
  • In a large bowl, place the apple slices and sprinkle them with ground cinnamon. If you prefer sweeter chips, add a light dusting of granulated or brown sugar as well. Toss the apple slices gently to coat them evenly with the seasoning.
