Crispy Air Fried Artichoke Hearts are amazing! They are light, and they are crispy, and they are absolutely delish, so if you have never had Fried Artichoke Hearts, this will be your day! They're divine.
Ingredients
¼cupmilk
1largeegg
½cuppanko bread crumbs
½cupItalian seasoned bread crumbs
1teaspoongarlic powder
14.5ouncesartichoke hearts, canned or fresh
½teaspoonsalt
Instructions
In a small bowl, make the breading, mix the bread crumbs, panko, and garlic powder, mix well.
In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Then dip the artichokes into the milk mixture. Let the milk mixture drip off naturally of the artichoke hearts.
Then roll the artichoke hearts into the panko/breadcrumb mixture. Use your hands to pat the coating down. Spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray. As you coat the artichokes, place them into the basket, spray the coating GENEROUSLY with cooking spray.
Set the temperature to 375 degrees F, air fryer setting for 8-10 minutes, flipping, about halfway through, and spraying the artichoke coating with cooking spray again.
