Description

Using an air fryer is a great way to reheat your leftover fish and chips. It restores the crispy texture while keeping the flavors intact.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces fish fillets, cooked
  • 2 cups chips, cooked

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F (175°C) for a few minutes.
  • While the air fryer is preheating, arrange the leftover fish and chips in a single layer on the air fryer basket or tray. If you have a lot of leftovers, you may need to reheat them in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  • Place the fish and chips into the preheated air fryer.
  • Heat for about 3-5 minutes, checking halfway through. The exact time may vary depending on your air fryer and the quantity of food. You want to heat them until they're crispy and heated through.
  • Once they're nicely reheated and crispy, carefully remove the fish and chips from the air fryer.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional

Notes

  • It's essential to avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to ensure even reheating and maintain the crispiness.
  • Keep an eye on the food as it reheats to prevent overcooking and burning.
  • Serve your reheated fish and chips with your favorite condiments, such as tartar sauce, malt vinegar, or lemon wedges, for a delicious meal.
