Notes

Air Fryer Salmon Steak Storage Tips:
  1. Cool Before Storing: Before storing your salmon steak, always ensure it has cooled down to room temperature. Storing hot or warm food can cause condensation, leading to sogginess and potential bacterial growth.
  2. Airtight Containers: Use airtight containers or resealable plastic bags to store your salmon steak. This helps retain moisture and prevents the fish from drying out.
  3. Refrigeration: If you plan on consuming the salmon steak within 2-3 days, refrigerate it. Make sure your refrigerator's temperature is set below 40°F (4°C) for optimal freshness.
  4. Freezing: For longer storage, consider freezing your salmon steak. Before freezing, wrap the steak in aluminum foil or cling wrap, then place it inside a resealable freezer bag. This will help prevent freezer burn and maintain the fish's quality. When ready to eat, defrost in the refrigerator before reheating.
  5. Reheating: When you're ready to enjoy your stored salmon steak, the air fryer is a great option for reheating. It will help maintain the crispy exterior while warming the inside. Ensure the fish reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) before consuming.
  6. Avoid Repeated Freezing and Thawing: Continuously freezing and thawing the salmon steak can deteriorate its texture and taste. It's best to decide whether to refrigerate or freeze and stick to that method until you're ready to eat the steak.
