Description

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • Optional: Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, balsamic glaze, red pepper flakes, cooking spray, fresh herbs

Instructions

  • Start by washing the Brussels sprouts and trimming the stem ends. Remove any loose or damaged outer leaves. For larger sprouts, you can cut them in half for more even cooking.
  • In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Make sure the sprouts are evenly coated with the seasonings. Feel free to add any optional ingredients like Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, or red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
  • Place the Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid on your Instant Pot and preheat it according to the manufacturer's instructions. Preheating ensures even cooking and crispy results.
  • Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure there's some space between each sprout for proper air circulation. If you have a large batch, you may need to cook them in batches.
  • Set the Instant Pot to air fry mode at a temperature of around 380-400°F (190-200°C). Cook the Brussels sprouts for approximately 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket or tossing them halfway through for even browning.
  • The Brussels sprouts are done when they are crispy and golden brown on the outside, and tender on the inside. Taste a sprout to ensure it's cooked to your liking.
