Description

Air Fryer Cookie For One --Easy and Delicious! Are you a cookie lover but hate waiting for a batch to finish baking in the oven?

Ingredients

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk,
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips, mini or regular

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer: Set it to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to preheat for a few minutes. In a small bowl, whisk the mixture, including all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt, until well combined.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. You can use a spoon, spatula, or electric mixer for this step. Add the vanilla extract and egg yolk to the butter-sugar mixture and mix until well incorporated
  • Gradually add the dry and wet ingredients and mix until a soft cookie dough forms. Be careful not to overmix. Fold the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Shape the dough into a single cookie, or use a cookie scoop.: Roll the dough into a ball, then gently flatten it into a thick disc shape. This will be your single-serving cookie.
  • Place the cookie in the air fryer: Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line the bottom of the air fryer basket with a  piece of parchment paper. Carefully place the cookie onto the prepared basket or parchment paper.
  • Slide the basket into the preheated air fryer and cook the cookie at 350 degrees F (175°C) for approximately 5-7 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown. The center may appear slightly undercooked but will firm up as it cools.
  • Once the cookie is cooked, carefully remove it from the air fryer using tongs or a spatula. Allow it to cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before enjoying your warm, gooey, single-serving air fryer chocolate chip cookie.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Notes

Remember, cooking times may vary slightly depending on your specific air fryer model, so keep a close eye on the cookie as it bakes to avoid overcooking. Now sit back, relax, and savor every delightful bite of your homemade air fryer cookie masterpiece!
