Combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl. Mix well to combine the seasonings. Add the eggs to another bowl, whisk with a fork, and in the last bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
Dip each piece of chicken into the flour, shaking off any excess flour. Then place into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated. Then, roll the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating to all sides.
Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil. Place chicken nuggets in a single layer in the basket without overcrowding. Cook them in batches if needed.
Place the basket in the preheated air fryer. Cook the chicken nuggets at 400 degrees F (200°C) for approximately 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. The nuggets should turn golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) to ensure they are fully cooked.
Once cooked, remove the chicken nuggets from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces or alongside your preferred side dishes.
