Description

Easy Air Fryer Honey Lemon Salmon is both delicious and Keto Friendly and packed with tons of flavor. You can make this entire dinner in less than 15 minutes!

Ingredients 

  • 2 salmon fillets, about 5 ounces each
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • 1 lemon, cut into lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, mix together honey, freshly squeezed lemon juice, minced garlic, and soy sauce. This mixture will create a sweet and tangy glaze for the salmon. If the honey is too thick, you can slightly warm it to make it easier to mix.
  • Season the Salmon: Lightly brush the salmon fillets with olive oil, and season them with salt and pepper. This will enhance the natural flavors of the salmon.
  • Marinate the Salmon: Pour the honey lemon mixture over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for about 15-30 minutes. The marinade will infuse the salmon with its flavors.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Preheating helps in cooking the salmon evenly.
  • Air Fry the Salmon: Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket. Be careful not to overcrowd the basket. Air fry for about 7-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. There's no need to turn the salmon over during cooking.
  • Check for Doneness: The salmon is cooked through when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Serve: Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the air fryer. Optionally, you can garnish it with fresh dill or parsley for added flavor and a touch of color.
