Description

Who doesn't love breaded ravioli, today, I went the Polish route, and made a batch of breaded or toasted pierogi!

Ingredients

  • 1 package pierogies, frozen
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup dipping sauce

Instructions

Mix the egg and milk in one bowl, mix well, then add a couple of pierogies and let soak for a minute or two. Then coat them with the bread crumb and cheese mixture.

  • Spray your air fryer basket or tray with olive or cooking oil spray, then place the coated perogies on them. Set in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, flipping halfway during cooking.  For best results, spray them again with cooking spray so both sides crisp up.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, or garnish with fresh herbs.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Parchment Paper
  • Cooking Spray
