Description

It is almost fall nd there is nothing I like to do better than bake and have a great cup of pumpkin-spiced coffee while doing so. My kids really enjoy going apple picking, and we always end up with more apples than we can eat, so I usually come up with tasty treats.

Ingredients

Cake:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup apple butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raisins

Icing:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and sugar.
  • Then add the flour, egg, apple butter, baking soda, nutmeg, vanilla extract, raisins, and milk, mix well.
  • Spray your pan with olive oil.
  • Spread your batter into the pan.
  • Place your pan into the air fryer, and set the temperature to 320 degrees F for 12-15 minutes. (air fryer setting)
  • Let cool before adding the icing. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and milk mix until it’s the consistency of glue.
  • Drizzle over the cake.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
