Ingredients 

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup creamed corn
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  • Start by mixing the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Mix the cream corn into the dry mixture, then add the milk and egg.
  • Spray your air fryer-safe pan, and then put the butter into the bottom of the pan and set it in the air fryer at 400 degrees for about 2 minutes, just enough for the butter to melt.
  • Once the butter is melted, mix about 1/2 of the butter into the batter, and then pour into the buttered air fryer safe pan.
  • Air Fry for 12 to 15 minutes  320 degrees F.
  • Check the cornbread and make sure it’s cooked throughout. If it is not, add another 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Plate, serve and enjoy!
