Description

Air Fryer Italian Sausage Balls --  Don't let the name fool you. Air Fryer Italian Sausage Balls are as easy to make as traditional fried ones. This is a family favorite recipe we've been making for years, and now it's perfect for an air fryer! You'll be surprised how delicious they taste!

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound ground Italian pork sausage
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Instructions

  • Mix the ground Italian sausage, Italian seasoning, shredded cheese, and almond flour in a large bowl. Mix well.
  • Form meatballs, about 1 to 1 1/2 inch balls. Place them into the air fryer in a single layer. Set the temperature to 370 degrees F, air fryer setting for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!

Pro Tips:

  • This recipe will work in any Air Fryer Basket or Oven Model. I have made them through the years in the Ninja Food, Instant Pot Vortex, GoWise, PowerXL, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, and Maelthy Lid. The recipe will remain the same. The cooking time will vary slightly.
  • For best results, try to shape all meatballs to about the same size, so they all cook up simultaneously.
  • Try using a cookie scoop if you have trouble shaping the Air Fryer Italian Sausage Balls.
