Description

Air Fryer Country Apple Galette is so good! If you are looking for the perfect fall dessert, this is one of my favorites!

Ingredients 

Pastry:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, cut into pieces
  • 2-3 tablespoons water, ice-cold

Topping:

  • 1 large apple, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine flour, sugar, salt, and butter and process for a few seconds. Slowly add in ice water, tablespoon by tablespoon, pulsing the mixture until it begins to come together (with small pieces of butter still showing).
  • Take the pastry mixture out of the food processor and use your hands to form into a disk. Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerator until chilled.
  • Meanwhile, prepare to fill by tossing apple slices with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  • Place dough on a floured workspace Roll out dough into a large circle. Arrange apple slices on top of the dough, leaving space to fold in the edges. Fold in edges and brush pastry and apples with melted butter, then drizzle apples with honey.
  • Put the pastry into a lined air fryer basket for 12 minutes at 330˚F (165˚C) or until golden brown.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
