Description

Today, I was in the mood for something fall-ish, as the weather when from scorching to cold overnight, so I grabbed a few ingredients from my pantry and came up with this easy breakfast that the entire family loved. By the way, it goes fabulous with coffee,

Ingredients

  • 1 package Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits
  • 1/2 cup apple pie filling
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  • Start by rolling out the dough about 3 inches by 3 inches.
  • Use a knife to cut the pie filling into small pieces. Add to a small bowl.
  • Melt some butter either in the microwave or in a small saucepan over the stove.
  • In another bowl, add the sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • Layout the dough on a flat surface, then add a tablespoon of pie filling in the center and then sprinkle some of the ground cinnamon/sugar mixtures on top of the pie filling.
  • Roll the dough up and use your fingers to seal the ends.
  • Roll the dough into the melted butter and then into the ground cinnamon/sugar mixture as you make them; place them on a greased air fryer tray or in a greased air fryer basket.
  • Set into the air fryer and set the time for 7 minutes, at 320 degrees F (air fryer setting), flipping halfway through.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Parchment Paper, or Cooking Spray
