Description

Air fryers are all the rage right now, and for good reason. They make cooking so much easier, especially when it comes to foods like Rangoon which can be a little tricky. Air Fryer Cream cheese Rangoon is one of my favorite appetizers, and this recipe makes it even easier than ever to cook them up perfectly every time. Give it a try!

Ingredients 

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chives, fresh, diced
  • 1/2 cup dipping sauce

Instructions

  • In a small bowl mix together the cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and diced chives.
  • Place your wonton wrapper on a flat surface, then add a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture In the center of the wrapper.
  • Fold up the corners, or use the pocket style of folding, here is a great YouTube Video if you have never folded a Rangoon before. I usually brush the edges of the wrapper with water.
  • Place wontons into the air fryer basket, in a single layer, and spray the outside of the wrappers with either nonstick spray, olive oil spray, or brush with olive oil. Set the temperature to 375 degrees f, and set the cooking time for 8-10 minutes. Remove when golden brown.
