Description

Air Fryer Italian Stromboli is pizza dough stuffed with pepperoni, ham, salami, and melty cheese! Air fryer stromboli is incredible and cooks fast for an easy, anytime meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 package pizza crust, refrigerated dough
  • 4-7 slices deli ham
  • 4-6 slices salami
  • 10-15 slices pepperoni
  • 4-6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1-2 teaspoons all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • pizza sauce, optional

Instructions

  • Start by rolling out the pizza dough on a floured surface. Then lay down the ham, salami, provolone cheese, pepperoni, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic. Roll up the dough, and pinch the edges to seal.
  • Brush dough with Melted butter and garlic mixture.
  • Place the Stromboli in Air Fryer Basket, sprinkle the Italian Seasoning on top.
  • Cut the slits into the stromboli, about every 2 inches, so that it will not explode as it cooks up.
  • Set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, and set the time for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Notes

Pro Tips:

  • This recipe will work in any Air Fryer Basket or Oven Model. This recipe will also work in the Ninja Foodi, Instant Pot Vortex, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, and Mealthy Lid. The recipe will work the same, and the cooking time will vary.
  • Leave room in the basket, so the hot air can circulate the Air Fryer Stromboli to cook it perfectly.
  • Leave room on the pizza dough so that the fillings will not leak out while you cook it up.
  • Make slits in the dough so that the dough doesn't bubble over and does not explode in the Air Fryer.
  • If you do not want to use a butter glaze on top, you can always make an egg wash instead.
  • If you find that the dough is browning too much, you can always add a piece of foil on top and reduce the temperature without the underside cooking. Remember to cook until it's fully cooked.
