Description

Air Fryer Roasted Figs -- If you've never cooked with an air fryer before, you're in for a treat! This little appliance can do so much, and roasting figs is one of its simplest tasks. Just three ingredients are all you need to make this healthy and delicious snack. So gather up your supplies, fire up the air fryer, and let's get started!

Ingredients 

  • 4 whole Fresh figs
  • 2 teaspoons Olive oil , or melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons Honey, optional
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
  • Wash the figs thoroughly and cut them in half lengthwise to expose their sweet centers.
  • Optionally, lightly brush the cut sides of the figs with olive oil or melted butter to enhance flavor and prevent them from drying out during cooking.
  • Place the fig halves in the air fryer basket, cut side up, in a single layer. Leave some space between each piece for even cooking.
  • Optionally, drizzle the fig halves with honey for added sweetness and sprinkle with ground cinnamon for extra flavor.
  • Air fry the figs at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-8 minutes, or until they are caramelized and tender. Keep an eye on them as cooking times may vary depending on the size and ripeness of the figs.
  • Once the figs are roasted to your liking, remove them from the air fryer.
  • Serve the air-fried roasted figs warm as a delightful appetizer, snack, or dessert.
