Description

Dried lemons are a great way to add tart flavor to your recipes. You can make them at home in your dehydrator, or you can buy them pre-made. But what if you want to try making them in your air fryer? It's easy, and the results are delicious! Keep reading for instructions on how to make dried lemon slices in your air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 6 large lemons

Instructions

  • Wash and dry your lemons, then thinly slice the lemons – you want them to be around ¼ inch thick.
  • Then, arrange the slices on the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap. Set the air fryer to “dehydrate” or “fruit” mode (most air fryers have pre-set programs for this), and let it run for about 60 minutes.
  • Or use 130 degrees F, and cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Remove when dehyrated.
  • Once the lemons are done, they should be dry and slightly darker in color. Store them in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, and enjoy them in recipes or as a healthy snack!

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
