Ingredients 

  • 2 large sweet onions
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning

Instructions

  • Start by cutting the top and bottom off the onion.
  • Cut the onions into petals.
  • Create your breading stations: In bowl 1, add the flour. In the second, add the eggs (whisk them with a fork), and in the 3rd bowl, add the breadcrumbs, paprika, salt, black pepper, and Cajun Seasoning.
  • Dip your petals into the flour, egg, and finally, the bread crumbs.
  • Spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • And then add your coated petals into the basket, being sure not to overcrowd them.
  • Spray your petals with cooking spray.
  • Set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown
  • Serve with a dipping sauce.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
