Ingredients 

  • 2 6 ounce chicken breasts, butterflied
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs, or panko
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Mix the breadcrumbs or panko, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. In another bowl, add your egg and whisk it with a fork, add in the lemon juice.
  • Then dip the chicken breasts into the eggs, and then dip it into the breadcrumbs (or panko) As you coat your chicken, place it into the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 360 degrees F, air fryer setting, and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Remove the chicken when the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
