Apple Mixture:

  • 1 large apple
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

Oatmeal Mixture:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk, any type
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Peel and dice apple into small pieces. In a bowl, place diced apple, cinnamon, brown sugar and lemon juice and mix together. Place mixture in an oven-safe dish and cover with foil. Bake covered in air fryer at 350˚F (175˚C) for 15 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in another bowl, stir together rolled oats, walnuts, cinnamon, all-spice, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Next, stir in milk, egg, maple syrup and vanilla extract and mix until ingredients are well combined.

  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
