Description

If you're anything like me, you love fried chicken but don't always love the guilt that comes with eating it. Well, have no fear because air frying is here! Today I'm going to show you how to make oven-fried chicken using an air fryer. This method results in a delicious piece of chicken that's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The best part is that it's not nearly as greasy as traditional fried chicken. So if you're looking for a healthier alternative, give this recipe a try!

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground thyme
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  • Start by cleaning the chicken by removing the fat.
  • Season your chicken, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  • Then soak your chicken breasts into buttermilk.
  • Let marinate for a few hours or overnight, and then place the chicken breast into the air fryer basket.
  • Set the air fryer temperature to 390 degrees F for 8 minutes. After 4 minutes, flip the chicken and air fry for another 3 minutes. Check the internal temperature of the chicken; it should be a temperature of 165 degrees F.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
