Description

Ingredients 

  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 premade pie dough , sheets
  • 1 small egg, whisk
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Combine brown sugar and butter in a large bowl, beat until creamy.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  • Add flour and mix until it just comes together, stir in the milk,
  • Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to an hour.
  • Lay down one pie crust.
  • Divide the cookie dough in 4 amounts and place on the pie crust.
  • Place the top crust on and cut in between the cookie dough
  • Crimp the edges with a fork.
  • For a shiny brown crust whisk one egg with 1 tablespoon of water and brush on the pies.
  • Place 1 or 2 hand pies in your air fryer and cook at 350 for 10-12 minutes until browned
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
