Description

Air Fryer Turkey Tetrazzini -- When you think of a healthy meal full of flavor, it probably doesn't involve the air fryer. However, this Air Fryer Turkey Tetrazzini recipe can change your mind about what foods are good for you and which ones aren't. It's also a great way to sneak in some vegetables if you're trying to eat more greens! Give it a try, and let us know how much your family loved it!

Ingredients 

  • 12 ounces spaghetti or noodles
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 pound diced mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons all-puropse flour
  • 2 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 1/3 cup half and half
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups turkey, lefovers, sliced or diced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup grated parmean cheese
  • Serve with Fresh Basil, Diced Tomatoes

Instructions

  • Start by preparing your spaghetti, per the directions on the package.
  • On a small skillet, add your butter, onions, and minced garlic, saute over low-medium heat until translucent. Then add your mushrooms, and continue until they are wilted. Stir in your flour, mix well.
  • Add your chicken broth, cream cheese, and half and half, mix well, until a slow simmer occurs, mix in the salt, black pepper, parsley, and Italian seasoning.
  • Drain the pasta, and pour into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add your turkey, and then pour in the skillet mixture. Set into an air fryer pan, and set the temperature to 300 degrees F, air fryer setting. When the turkey tetrazzini starts to bubble, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top, air fry until the cheese melts.
  • Serve with cherry tomatoes and parmesan cheese.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
