Description
So, there has been a lot of debate about air frying a steak. I started doing it right after I got my air fryer. The truth was I was too lazy to go out and shovel the path to my grill. I used to live in North (I mean North, where we measure snow in FEET, not inches) New Hampshire, before moving to Philadelphia. Today I will be teaching you my method of Air Fryer Rib Eye Steaks.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 rib-eye steaks, about 8–10 ounces each
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start by letting your meat become room temperature, which means take the ribeyes out of the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before air frying them.
- Then brush some melted butter over the steaks and season them, with salt and pepper, and whatever your favorite steak seasoning is.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- Set the steaks into the air fryer, for 5 minutes per side.
- Check with a meat thermometer to see if your steaks are cooked.
- Let the steaks rest for about 10 minutes.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
