Air Fryer, Harissa and Honey-Glazed Chicken

This is a really easy meal, I made the chicken with roasted carrots, which provided an easy side dish. I prepared a small Instant Pot bowl of Jasmine Rice.

  • 3 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, about 8 ounces each.
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon red Harissa pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. I started by dicing the carrots, into about 1-inch chunks. 

  2. Then add your chicken breasts, flavor both the carrots and chicken with salt and pepper. then drizzle some olive oil over the carrots.

  3. In a small mixing bowl, mix together the honey, minced garlic, red harissa paste and some salt and pepper. Mix well.

  4. Baste the chicken with the sauce. Reserve about 1/2 of the sauce of basting after cooking. 

  5. Set the pan into the air fryer oven or basket and set the temperature for 370 degrees F for 7 minutes, after 7 minutes, baste the chicken with the reserved marinade, and air fry for another 7 minutes.

  6. Plate, serve and enjoy!
