In the Instant Pot add the olive oil, then press the saute button. As soon as the olive oil heats up, add the onions, carrots, and celery, Saute for a few minutes until they are softened.
Then add the ground beef, use a spoon to break up the meat, as it cooks. Once the meat is cook, drain the fat.
Add the garlic, tomato paste, Italian Seasoning, and basil.
Mix well.
Then add the beef stock, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and bay leaves. Mix well.
Add your lid, making sure that the vent is in the sealing position.
Set the manual high pressure for 20 minutes. When the time is up do a quick release.
When all of the pressure has been released, remove the lid.
Continue to simmer, until the sauces thicken, about 5 minutes.
