Ingredients 

  • 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, , room temperature
  • 1/4 cup dark molasses
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and spices mix well.
  • In another, both add the butter, brown sugar, and molasses, mix well until the batter is fluffy, fold in the egg and vanilla extract.
  • Slowly add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture.
  • Add about 1 1/2 tablespoon of batter to a parchment-lined air fryer basket using a cookie scoop or tablespoon.
  • Set the temperature to 320 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove went the edges start to set. The cookies will harden as they cool down.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
