Ingredients
1poundground beef
1poundground pork
1/2cup onions, diced
1/2cupbell peppers, diced
1cuprolled oats
1/2cupbreadcrumbs, seasoned
2largeeggs
1/4cupBBQ Sauce
1tablespoonWorcestershire Sauce
1teaspoonparsley, fresh or dried
2teaspoonssea salt
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
1poundbacon, thick cut bacon
4 to 5tablespoonsBBQ Sauce, , for basting
Instructions
Add ground beef, ground pork, onions, bell peppers, and mix well in a large bowl. Fold in the BBQ sauce, eggs, oats, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire Sauce, salt, black pepper, parsley, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
Place the combined meat into a small loaf pan (this will help the entire meatloaf cook up to perfection, using a larger loaf pan, usually ends with a raw center).
Lay the bacon on the meatloaf, and set the pan into the air fryer basket or oven. Set the temperature to 380 degrees F, air fryer setting, and cook for 30 to 50 minutes, depending on how thick your meatloaf is. Larger pans will need a longer cooking time. For best results, baste your meatloaf with BBQ sauce as it cooks up.
