Easy air fryer puff pastry apple tarts made with flaky store-bought pastry, cinnamon-sugar apples, and an apricot glaze. These mini apple pie tarts are ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
2sheetspuff pastry, thawed
2large apples, thinly sliced
1tablespoongranulated sugar
1teaspoonground cinnamon
2tablespoonslemon juice
1/2cupapricot jam
1largeegg, beaten (optional, for egg wash)
Instructions
Roll out the puff pastry and cut each sheet into 4 rectangles (8 total). Score a 1/2-inch border on each without cutting through.
Slice the apples about 1/4 inch thick and toss with the lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar.
Arrange the apple slices inside the border of each pastry rectangle. If using, brush the border with beaten egg.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 to 4 minutes.
Place the tarts in the air fryer basket, spaced apart, and air fry at 400°F for 5 to 8 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
Warm the apricot jam and brush it over the hot tarts. Serve warm.
