Air Fryer, Air Fried, Instant Pot, Vortex Plus, Bakery Style Chocolate Scones


  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons cold butter
  • 3/4 cup half and half or cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mini chocolate chips


  1. Start by adding the flour, sugar to a large mixing bowl.

  2. Then add in the butter.

  3. Add in the half and half and eggs, vanilla extract.

  4. Mix well.

  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  6. spray your silicone molds, with non-stick cooking spray (see the blog post, on how I got them to fit into the air fryer)

  7. Fill the mold with the batter.

  8. Set your tray into the air fryer.

  9. Set the temperature to 350 degrees F, for 10 minutes.

  10. After 10 minutes check on your scones, mine were done, if yours are not, add a couple of minutes.

  11. I drizzled some chocolate sauce over them, plated, served and enjoyed!
