Description

Air Fryer Sockeye Salmon --Today's recipe will teach you how to make air-fried socket salmon using an easy recipe. This is a delicious recipe using the bright red fish, which is devious, paired with fresh tubers; it will soon become your favorite!

Ingredients

  • 2 sockeye salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh dill, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200°C). This ensures that the salmon cooks evenly and gets that delicious, crispy exterior.
  • While the air fryer is heating, pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This is important for getting a nice sear on the salmon.
  • In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture over both sides of the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Place the salmon fillets, skin-side down, in the air fryer basket. Cook for 7-10 minutes until the salmon is cooked and flakes quickly with a fork. The exact cooking time will depend on the thickness of your fillets.
  • When done, the salmon should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Use a meat thermometer to ensure it's perfectly cooked.
  • Remove the salmon from the air fryer and rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh dill before serving. For an extra burst of citrus, serve additional lemon wedges on the side.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
