Description

Air Fryer Sushi Pizza -- Today, it's all about a great recipe, perfect for anyone who loves sushi! This makes for a fantastic or fancy appetizer for a dinner party.

Ingredients 

  • 2 6-inch tortillas, gluten-free or whole wheat
  • 1 large avocado
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt,
  • 8 ounces sushi-grade salmon, skin removed and minced fine
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons scallions, divided
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 large jalapeño, thin-sliced , for garnish

Instructions

  • Set your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes.
  • Place the tortillas in the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them one at a time. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until crispy and golden. Remove and set aside to cool.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the minced sushi-grade salmon with 1 tablespoon of sliced scallions, toasted sesame oil, and soy sauce or tamari. Mix well to ensure the salmon is evenly coated.
  • Whisk together the mayonnaise and sriracha until smooth in a small bowl. Mix the mayo with the salmon mixture. Mash the avocado with a fork.
  • Spread a thin layer of mashed avocado over each crispy tortilla. Sprinkle a little kosher salt over the avocado.
  • Spoon the seasoned salmon mixture evenly over the avocado layer. Use the back of the spoon to press down and spread the salmon across the tortilla gently.
  • Sprinkle the remaining sliced scallions, black and white sesame seeds, and thin-sliced jalapeño over the top of each sushi pizza. Drizzle a little more sriracha mayo if desired.
  • Your Air Fryer Sushi Pizza is now ready to enjoy! Slice into quarters or eighths, and serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
