Ingredients 

  • 1/2 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
  • 5.25 ounces French onion soup,
  • 5.25 ounces beef consomme,
  • 1/4 cup butter, sliced into 4 equal-sized parts

Instructions

  • Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This step helps remove excess starch and prevents the rice from becoming too sticky.
  • Combine the rinsed rice, condensed French onion soup, and condensed beef broth in an air fryer-safe dish or a cake pan that fits your air fryer. If you're adding seasonings, mix them in as well. Stir gently to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Place the pats of butter on top of the mixture.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil or a suitable air fryer-safe lid to keep the moisture in while the rice cooks.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F (if your model requires preheating).
  • Place the covered dish in the air fryer basket and cook for about 10-12 minutes. Halfway through the cooking time, carefully remove the dish and gently stir the rice to ensure even cooking. Continue cooking until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
