Ingredients 

  • 15 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt , to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes.
  • In a bowl, toss the black beans with olive oil and your choice of seasonings. Common seasonings include garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, or smoked paprika. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread the seasoned black beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook them at 400°F (200°C) for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning, as cooking times may vary depending on the size and type of your air fryer.
  • After the cooking time is up, check the black beans for crispiness. If they are not yet crispy enough, continue cooking for a few more minutes, checking them frequently.
