Ingredients 

  • 15 ounces chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  • Transfer the hummus to a small oven-safe dish or ramekin, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Place the dish in the preheated air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly crispy.
  • Carefully remove the dish from the air fryer using oven mitts.
  • Drizzle the top of the hummus with extra olive oil, sprinkle with paprika and chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm with your choice of dippers.
