Ingredients
1poundsteak, any type
1teaspoonolive oil
1teaspoonkosher salt, or sea salt
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
1teaspoonsteak seasoning, optional
Instructions
While the Ninja Foodi is preheating, dry your steak with a paper towel, then season your steak with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings you prefer.
Rub a small amount of olive oil on both sides of the steak to help with browning and prevent sticking.
Place the air fryer rack on the crisper tray, locking it into place. Place the steak into the air fryer crisper tray. Close the lid, turn the Ninja Speedi on, Select Air Fry (switch), and then select the Air Fryer Function. Set the Ninja Speedi's temperature to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C), and set the cooking time for 7-10 minutes.
When cooking is complete, carefully open the lid (use oven mitts or a towel) and check the steak's internal temperature with a meat thermometer. For medium-rare, it should be around 135°F (57°C).
