Air Fryer, Air Fried, Chicken Sausage Subs (Grilled Sausages, Peppers and Onions) (Sheet Pan Meal)


  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 yellow pepper diced
  • 1 red pepper diced
  • 1 orange pepper diced
  • 1 package chicken sausage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Optional: Sub Rolls.


  1. Start by slicing the chicken into small strips., the onions, peppers, place in a large bowl.

  2. Add the olive oil, salt, and pepper, mix well.

  3. Add all of the ingredients into the air fryer basket. Try to make it a single layer, so it all cooks at the same time.

  4. Set your temperature to 400 degrees F, and the time for 7 minutes

  5. After 7 minutes, shake the basket, and toss the peppers, with tongs. Add another 7 minutes.

  6. After the additional 7 minutes, place the chicken sausages directly on top of the peppers and set the time for another 5 minutes.

  7. Plate, serve and enjoy! (I used a sub roll if you are gluten-free or KETO just cut the sausage up and serve with the peppers and onions)
