In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup honey, 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger, a pinch of salt, and a dash of black pepper. Mix well to create the honey-orange glaze.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag.
Pour the honey-orange glaze over the salmon, making sure to coat each fillet evenly.
Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
Remove the marinated salmon fillets from the refrigerator.
Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them to allow for even cooking.
Cook for 10-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. The salmon should be flaky and have a beautiful golden glaze.
If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on the salmon for added flavor and texture.
Carefully remove the honey orange glazed salmon from the air fryer basket.
Serve hot with your choice of side dishes, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
