Ingredients 

  • 4 salmon fillets, 4-6 oz each
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • 1 large lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dill, to taste
  • 2-3 cloves cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white wine, optional

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cut four sheets of parchment paper large enough to fold over and seal the salmon fillets.
  • Place each salmon fillet on a parchment paper sheet.
  • Season the fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Drizzle a small amount of olive oil over each fillet.
  • Place a few lemon slices on top of each fillet.
  • Sprinkle minced garlic and fresh dill over the salmon.
  • Add a few cherry tomato halves around the salmon. (optional)
  • If using, pour a splash of white wine over the fillets for added flavor.
  • Fold the parchment paper over the salmon. Seal the edges by folding them tightly, ensuring that each fillet is completely enclosed in its parchment packet. This allows the salmon to steam in its own juices and the added aromatics.
  • Place the parchment packets in the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you might need to cook them in batches.
  • Cook for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The exact time might vary depending on the thickness of the fillets and your air fryer model.
  • Carefully remove the salmon packets from the air fryer. Let them rest for a minute.
  • Open the packets (be careful of the steam) and transfer the salmon to plates.
  • Optionally, garnish with additional fresh dill or lemon slices before serving.
