Start by rolling the dough out, make sure that you dusted flour on the surface otherwise you will end up with a sticky mess.
Use your biscuit cutter and make your circles, choose a size that will allow you to put in a few tablespoons of filling.
Remove the excess dough from the counter, and set aside (as you will roll that later to make more hand pies)
Use a spoon and scoop some filling in, the first one is the hardest, as you will need to experiment on how much filing to use, which will depend on the size of your circle.I used 2 tablespoons per hand pie. Use a fork ends and crimp the edges, all around making sure that the seal is tight.
In a small bowl, mix together the egg white and water, and beat until it's well combined.
Place the hand pies into the Air Fryer, and use a pastry brush to brush the tops, which will give it a nice golden color.
Set the temperature for 350 f, for 4 minutes, after 4 minutes check on the pies, flip, egg wash again and set the time and temperature for:
Another 350 degrees for 4 minutes.
As they cooked, remove them from the air fryer, let cool
Meanwhile in a small bowl, mix together the confectionary sugar, vanilla extract, and milk
Spread the glaze over the hand pies, let set
Plate, serve and enjoy!
