Air Fryer-Air Fried-Copycat Recipe-Marie Callender's Famous Golden Cornbread with Honey Butter



  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Honey Butter:

  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  1. Start by making your cornbread.

    Add the flour to a large mixing bowl.

  2. Add the cornmeal

  3. Then add the sugar,  baking powder and salt.

  4. Then add your eggs.

  5. Add the milk

  6. Add your vegetable oil

  7. Mix well.

  8. Pour the ingredients into your air fryer safe pan. which is sprayed with non-stick cooking spray

  9. Place the pan into your air fryer basket for 20 minutes at 340 degrees F.

    After the time is done, use a toothpick and stick it in the middle of the cornbread if it comes out clean you are done, if not add a few more minutes to cook it fully. Never eat it raw.

  10. Remove from the air fryer basket and let cool.

  11. Then make the honey butter, add the butter and honey to a mixing bowl or I use the Magic Bullet, which is easier for clean up.

    Blend until smooth and then top the cornbread with the mixture, or serve it on the side.

  12. Plate, serve and enjoy!
